Based in British Columbia, MD Transport is a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, providing transportation in multiple lanes across the US and Canada.
Operating since 1998, the company began by specializing in flatbed freight. Since then, MD Transport has grown to service thousands of shippers across the US and Canada. Our logistics division provides all our customers with a wide range of transportation services and equipment.
Throughout MD Transport’s history, we have worked hard to prove to our customers that we will deliver unmatched customer service. Whatever challenges our customers may face in this complex global marketplace, MD Transport stands committed to helping them gain the competitive edge.
Our Equipment
We have 50 owner-operated units in our fleet. These include:
- Flatbed / stepdeck trucks — for loads up to 48,000–52,000 lbs
- Maxi / quads — for loads up to 65,000 lbs
We also offer third-party services for carrying all kinds of freight. These include:

Advanced Track & Trace Features
Many truck companies run on a satellite tracking system, and record their locations using an electronic log. We’ll use these to get you live updates on where your shipment is, upon request.

MD Transport strictly abides by all the laws and regulations in the transportation industry, ensuring that every driver is WCB certified. Safety is always a top priority.
Reducing Environmental Footprint
All of our newer trucks are equipped with Certified Clean Idle, so they idle better and are more efficient on gas. We also route every trip for the least amount of travel time and traffic, providing the highest fuel efficiency, so our trucks aren’t idling on the highway.
Streamlined Paperwork
We want our customers to have as quick and smooth an experience as possible. That’s why we use online systems to invoice, share customs paperwork, and more.
Safety Certifications
All of our drivers are safety certified in British Columbia by WorkSafeBC and hold valid Driver Medical Examination reports.
Our cargo insurance and general liability insurance have you covered.
MD Transport is Automated Commercial Environment certified to carry commercial products southbound through the border from Canada into the US.
We work with Canadian customs to provide Advance Commercial Information when we’re bringing products into Canada from the United States, so your load can cross the border as quickly as possible.
